Trend Alert
With the new year upon us and spring just on the horizon we have even more reasons to shop! So what's coming up for the spring season, you ask? Today Samantha combines 3 hot trends into one great look:
The Boxy Coat:
A cropped trench coat is a great way to pay homage to the boxy coat trend seen all over the runways without stepping too far out of your comfort zone. It's also a great update to the traditional long trench-coat as we transition to warmer weather (don't forget the rainboots!)
RED
This red on red look is one of my favorites. The colorblock sweater and red cropped jacket compliment each other with out looking overdone. Amazing!
The Boyfriend Jean
Yes! The Boyfriend jean is back. Sam is wearing the men's straight dark wash 1969 jeans (don't fear the men's department!) with our oxford flats, a perfect combination for an androgynous yet feminine look.
Here's to the new year, new trends and a great spring season!

Mr. November
Our First Gap Guy post!
Shawn, one of our very own at 9402, is wearing the men's plaid pocket button down under the ultra soft Merino V-neck Sweater. When layering sweaters like this it's important to pick colors that will compliment the shirt worn underneath. Avoid being too "matchy matchy" with the same colors on bottom and top, unless you're going for something ironic in which case you win!
This look is casual enough to be worn everyday of fall/winter, but can also be dressed up with slacks and/or a blazer.
The straight fit cords, add subtle texture to the look making it more interesting and definitely more stylish.
Being a gentleman never goes out of style (especially when you're well dressed).

Trend Spotting: The Always Skinny Dark Wash
These jeans have been spotted throughout retail stores and online shopping sites. The Gap 1969 jean has the perfect dark wash that is a staple in every wardrobe; the a rich, cool color is suiting for the winter months! These skinny jeans look great with winter boots and the dark wash is versatile enough to be dressed up or down . Compared to more expensive designer jeans, the Always Skinny is equal in fit and quality. Pair with a puffer vest to fight off the cold, or for a more glamourous look, a fur coat!
I've got mine on.
